MISSION STATEMENT (Who we are)
The Pleasantville Police Department is part of the community, empowered by the people and committed to justice by action. Our mission is to protect and preserve the lives, property, and constitutional rights of all. We are dedicated to our duty of maintaining peace and order, reducing crime and the fear of crime, providing a sense of safety and security, solving problems, and enforcing the law.

We embrace the values of knowledge, courage, and integrity in our commitment to maintaining the public trust. Our partnership with other members of the community makes it possible to operate a public service organization, working in cooperation with community agencies and groups to promote understanding of, and confidence in, our efforts to be a trusted source of help.
